Survey to inform CIHR Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism & Diabetes Priority Plan (Nov 23 deadline)

October 27, 2026

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes (INMD), under the leadership of INMD Scientific Director Dr. Mary Jung, is developing a new Institute Research Priority Plan (IRPP) to guide the Institute’s research priorities, investments and activities over the next five years.

As part of this process, we invite interested parties to complete a short survey and share their views on key research strengths, assets across the INMD mandate, opportunities for collaboration and impact, potential challenges facing the research community, and themes that have emerged from key informant interviews and environmental scanning undertaken to date.

This feedback, together with findings from other engagement activities, will help inform the development and refinement of INMD’s next IRPP.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and responses will be de-identified for analysis.

Please click the link to access the survey in English: [link], and French: [link].

The survey closes November 23, 2026.

Thank you in advance for sharing this information across your networks, as well as your feedback and perspectives to help shape INMD’s future research priorities.
