CIHR Programs

CIHR is the Canadian federal agency responsible for funding health research.

CIHR provides funding for four general areas of inquiry: biomedical; clinical: health services research; and social, cultural, environmental and population health research.

SPARC provides strategic support services and resources for UBC faculty researchers submitting to major CIHR programs, including program outreach, project and proposal development, and proposal review. For more details on specific SPARC support, visit the relevant program page(s) below.
