Researchers interested in advancing youth mental health may wish to apply to the the upcoming CIHR Operating Grant: Evaluation & Implementation Science in Youth Mental Health. With 10 grants available, each valued at up to $600,000 over three years, this opportunity supports high-quality evaluation and implementation science research focused on youth mental health interventions.
Key Eligibility Requirements:
Applications must involve a meaningful partnership with at least one Canadian organization implementing a youth mental health intervention that will be the subject of the proposed research. The partner organization must be included as an applicant partner, provide a partner letter, and have a representative (as NPA, PA, Co-applicant, or Knowledge User) involved on the research team. Applications must also include at least one Knowledge User who can help shape the research and support the uptake of findings into policy, programs, or practice.
Researchers should review the funding opportunity carefully to ensure that the proposed project aligns with the objectives and research areas of the competition and that they meet the full eligibility requirements.
