SPARC Focus Groups: Experiences with the New Frontiers in Research Funds Explorations Stream

SPARC is hosting focus groups for applicants to the inaugural Exploration Stream competition of the New Frontiers in Research Funds (NFRF). These group meetings will provide applicants with an opportunity to discuss their experiences in preparing their proposals, what their perceptions of the competition were, and what UBC can do to better support them.

Experiences and suggestions will be included in feedback that SPARC will communicate to SSHRC and TIPS, who are responsible for NFRF program management, so that they can better understand our experiences and implement improvements for future competitions.
