Scholar Competition Drop-In Sessions

The Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) has opened applications for the 2021 Scholar program. This program allows early career researchers to establish an independent research career, build a leading research program and expand their potential to make significant contributions to their field. The award term is five years. More information can be found in the MSFHR Scholar program guidelines. Please check the page regularly for up-to-date deadlines.

SPARC Open House Support
SPARC will be offering Zoom open house sessions for Scholar applicants. One-on-one consultations will be available in 15-minute timeslots on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Elizabeth Cheu or Sharon Marsh to secure a time. Please prepare in advance and send us draft sections and, if resubmitting, your MSFHR reviewer comments and score to take full advantage of your meeting.
