SPARC is pleased to offer the following support programs for the SSHRC Partnership Development Grant (PDG) November 2018 competition, including the Collaborative Housing Research Network (CHRN) joint-initiative co-funded by SSHRC and the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). Applicants interested in either of these funding opportunities are encouraged to contact SPARC early to discuss proposal requirements.
Internal Review:
The deadlines for SPARC Internal Review for the 2018 PDG Competition are as follows:
Thursday, September 6 by 4pm – register by emailing danica.kell@ubc.ca, then please look for a confirmation email outlining next steps (e.g., submission of registration form, etc.)
Friday, September 21st by 3:30pm – submit completed proposal for review
SPARC will arrange to have PDG proposals reviewed by a UBC faculty researcher who has experience with successful grant preparation, peer review and/or research interests relevant to the application. Proposals are usually reviewed within ~2 weeks.
SPARC Review: up to Thursday, November 1 (latest possible submission)
In these reviews, proposals will be finely edited by a member of the SPARC team. Applicants have the option of submitting their full proposal or various modules.
