Test Your Concept for the New Frontiers in Research Fund—Exploration Stream

January 11 - May 10, 2024

SPARC is hosting Test Your Concept (TYC) panels for researchers interested in submitting applications to the New Frontiers in Research Fund Exploration Stream. The panel, comprised of interdisciplinary faculty and research staff, will meet with each participant for 30 minutes to provide constructive feedback on research concepts. Researchers are expected to provide a 5 minute oral presentation summarizing their concept and how they satisfy the criteria of high-risk, high-reward and interdisciplinarity.

The TYC panels will be held on January 16 and 17. Space is limited, so we ask that you register as soon as possible. Specific dates and location will be announced shortly. UBCO applicants should contact Denise Maines if they are interested.
