The CIHR Other: Planning and Dissemination Grants – ICS (Winter 2025) competition has an Application deadline on Tuesday, November 19, which is approximately three months earlier than its usual February deadline. This cycle, there are at least ~75 awards available, with values ranging from $10k to $60k x 1 year.
SPARC has updated its Planning and Dissemination Grant competition resources, namely a Planning Grant Guidebook and Activity Description Template, and a Dissemination Grant Guidebook and Activity Description Template. Please visit our online Resources (CWL required; scroll to "CIHR Resources" and select "CIHR Operating, Team and Large Network, and Other Grants").
SPARC is also available this cycle to conduct a review of the ½-page Relevance Form. Please email this document in MS Word format to christy.mctait@ubc.ca by 10am on Tuesday, November 12. As a reminder, this form must clearly align with the objectives and Research Areas as outlined in the relevant Sponsor Description. CIHR will withdraw applications that are not deemed to be relevant to the chosen Institute or Initiative.
