In a follow-up to our extra newsletter edition on January 28, below we provide a little more information about SPARC website enhancements. We want to be sure that the UBC research community is readily able to access the information they’re looking for – from program updates and current SPARC support services to upcoming workshops and new resources.
Our home page highlights the competitions currently being supported by SPARC and provides a quick overview of upcoming events, with full details available through our new event calendar. Our program pages (e.g., CIHR Project Grant) have been streamlined to improve access to content and our Sample Grant Library (CWL required) has been moved to Sharepoint to provide increased search functionality. Further changes will be made as needed to ensure that SPARC announcements are easily available. If you have any suggestions, please reach out to our administrative assistant, Sayre Tripp.
This February newsletter is our final edition of SPARC Connects. From this point forward, our communications will be conveyed through the monthly VPRI Research Digest. If you are subscribed to our newsletter using a UBC email address, you will automatically begin to receive the Digest this month. If you are subscribed through a non-UBC email, you will receive an invitation to subscribe, or you can do so using the form below. SPARC’s news and information will predominantly be featured in the “Workshops, programs and events” and “Support and resources” sections of the Digest.
