CMHC Housing Supply Challenge Round 3: Northern Access Round: Supply Chain Solutions for Northern and Remote Housing

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Impact Canada have announced Round Three of their Housing Supply Challenge, “The Northern Access Round: Supply Chain Solutions for Northern and Remote Housing.”  In Round 3, the CMHC is looking to fund solutions that address barriers in the supply chain that reduce the time, cost, and risk associated with accessing all the materials and resources needed to build, operate and maintain housing in northern and remote regions.”  Applications are due June 23rd, 2022.

Internal Selection:

UBC may submit only one application to Round Three of the Housing Supply Challenge.  Researchers interested in applying should submit a 3 page (maximum) summary of the proposed project with the following headings to address the applications requirements and evaluation criteria:

  • Barrier & Geographic Area (10%)
  • Solution & Its Impact on Northern and Remote Access (45%)
  • Northern & Remote Participation (20%)
  • Team Members (5%)
  • Plan for Solution Development (20%)
